How OnRestro brings it all together

A busy shift has enough moving parts.

Orders shouldn’t need chasing, bills shouldn’t need double-checking across tools, and the day’s numbers shouldn’t take all evening to piece together. OnRestro brings the key parts of service together so your team can stay on the same page.

  1. A guest scans the QR.

Guests browse the menu and place orders from their phones.

Explore POS features

The OnRestro mascot, a smiling tablet in a chef’s hat and apron, points at the OnRestro POS on a desktop monitor: dine-in table tabs, a pizza menu grid with prices, and an active order for Table 4 with a customer, subtotal, CGST and SGST, a total of ₹1,319 and Print KOT, Collect Payment and Place order buttons. A receipt printer sits beside it.

02QR ordering

Guests scan, order and add another round.

Each table has its own QR code. Guests browse your menu in their phone’s browser, pick variations, add a note like “less spicy” and order. Your POS plays an alert so staff can accept it.

  • No app download or login
  • Variations, notes and veg markers
  • Accept or reject from the POS

See QR ordering

The OnRestro mascot sits at a restaurant table holding a phone next to a Scan to Order QR stand. Beside it, a phone shows the OnRestro customer menu for Table 1 with Ordering open, a dish search box, categories and Signature Veg Pizzas with prices, descriptions and Add buttons.

03Captain App

The same POS, carried to the table.

Captains open OnRestro on their phone, pick the table, build the order while talking to guests and send it straight to the kitchen. Payment can be collected right there too.

  • Runs in the phone’s browser
  • Table picker and order sheet
  • Same KOTs and payments as the counter

See how the Captain App works

The OnRestro mascot, dressed as a captain, takes an order on a phone while guests wait at Table 3. The phone shows the OnRestro POS with dine-in table selection, menu search and a View order bar; small cards beside it read Table 3 Take Order, New Order, KOT Sent to Kitchen and Order Served.

04Kitchen Display System

Orders reach the kitchen the moment they’re confirmed.

POS orders and accepted QR orders appear as live tickets with a sound alert. Cooks tick off items, move each ticket from Queued to Preparing to Ready, and bump it once it’s served.

  • Timers that flag late tickets
  • Priority and recall
  • All Day totals for every dish

Explore Kitchen Display

The OnRestro mascot in a chef’s hat holds a bowl of vegetables and taps a wall-mounted OnRestro kitchen display. Live tickets for tables and takeaway orders are colour-coded Queued, Preparing and Ready, with timers, item checkmarks, cooking progress bars and Mark Ready, Start Preparing and Bump buttons.

A few things restaurant owners usually ask.
